Cookie policy

Last updated: May 2026

Onde uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the service, measure advertising performance and improve the product. This page lists each cookie used, its purpose, its duration and how to refuse it.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file deposited on your device when you visit a website. It allows the site to recognise you across pages or visits. Some cookies are technically necessary, others are used for measurement or personalisation.

2. Categories of cookies used

Necessary cookies (always active)

These cookies are essential to the operation of the site (authentication, security, navigation). They are exempt from prior consent under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act.

  • authjs.session-token — NextAuth session, 30 days, first-party
  • authjs.csrf-token — CSRF protection, session, first-party
  • onde_consent — your cookie preferences, 6 months, first-party

Advertising measurement (consent required)

Used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and to improve our content.

  • _fbp (Meta Pixel) — browser identifier for ad attribution, 90 days, third-party (Meta)
  • _fbc (Meta Pixel) — last ad click identifier, 90 days, third-party (Meta) — only set if you arrived via a Meta ad
  • Server-side events (Conversions API) — when you create an account or pay, Onde sends a server-side event to Meta (with your hashed email) to attribute the conversion. No cookie is set in your browser by this server-side process.

Product analytics (consent required)

Anonymous usage statistics to understand how the product is used. No third-party analytics tool is currently deployed — this category is a provision for the future.

3. Refusing or withdrawing consent

On your first visit, a banner lets you choose: "Accept all", "Refuse all", or "Customise". Refusing is as easy as accepting. You can also customise category by category. Your preferences are kept for 6 months.

You can change your preferences at any time by clicking "Manage my cookies" at the bottom of the page or via the button below.

4. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have a right of access, rectification, deletion, restriction and portability concerning your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact hello@ondeaudio.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

5. Third party — Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd

When the marketing category is enabled, the Meta Pixel deposits cookies on your device. The data collected (interactions with the site, hashed email upon registration/payment) is sent to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, based in Ireland, for ad measurement and optimisation.
